Tell me more…

  • I help women overcome stress and burnout and reconnect with their purpose - why they are here.

Note: Statistically women are far more likely to seek wellness and self-care services, so I work mostly with women and their stress outcomes.  However, I have worked (and will work) with men who are seeking to overcome stress and overwhelm and reconnect with purpose. The effects of stress are not exclusive to gender, but how stress is processed and manifests may vary.

  • I have observed over the years that without a sense of purpose or direction in life, we tend to wander, uneasy and discontented. When I speak of purpose, I mean self-directed purpose based on intuition, and not purpose imposed on you by your family, boss, or society.

Purpose is a core part of our being and a pillar to living a meaningful life.

The thing is that it is very difficult, even impossible, to find or fulfill your purpose if you are overextended or unwell. Your focus will be on the noise of your stressors and the alarms going off in your body.

Until you learn to manage stress and take care of your body, it will be challenging to find enough quiet in order to really hear intuition. Life will continue to buffet you around, versus you being calm, resilient and focused in the face of life’s challenges.

  • My Karuna Care Coaching program is compassionate care and coaching that is integrative, committed, and based on Ayurveda and other holistic wellness traditions. Karuna means “compassion” in Sanskrit. Rather than tell you what to do and send you on your way, my approach (and preference) is to be an anchor in your life. As your coach and anchor, I will:

    • Teach (not just tell) you valuable skills to feel better,

    • Steady and encourage you as you practice and progress with these skills,

    • Coach you on setting doable goals to improve your life and stress levels,

    • Remind you to pause, rest, and receive,

    • Compassionately (yet firmly) call you out when you need it,

    • Act as a sounding board as you seek clarity on your purpose, and

    • Tell you things are never as bad as they seem…to keep going.

What I will NOT do is take responsibility for your healing and journey. That is your important work to do and the challenge that you are called to overcome at this time in your life.

  • Our work together is just that - a mutual commitment.

First, it requires that you make a commitment to yourself to spend a set period of time (3, 6, 9, 12+ months) to finally deal with the impact of stress on your life.  This powerful window will be one of deep, self-discovery, honesty and hard work to change patterns in your life.  All of these require a strong self-commitment.

Second, I make a commitment to you to be your anchor and guide during this powerful window of self-discovery.

    • I meet with you regularly on a set schedule, to help you set and keep goals.

    • I also work to help you alleviate and expedite relief of your stress symptoms during this window.

    • And I provide you with the tools, knowledge (and practice of both) to carry with you, so that you know how to keep balance in your body and life.

  • Everything. Literally. My coaching program is integrative and all-inclusive of the services that I offer. Over the years, I have found that stressed clients need the continuity of multiple care sessions, but without the hassle or added stress of weekly/monthly decision, scheduling, and transaction fatigue.

My Karuna Care Coaching program includes:

    • Coaching sessions, scheduled on a weekly or biweekly basis:

    • A detailed Ayurvedic intake process to access your body type, stressors, and imbalances

    • A mindfulness approach to coaching and goal-setting

    • Targeted nutritional guidance based on the foods and herbs best for your unique body and the season,

    • Lifestyle design to develop supportive and doable daily and seasonal routines,

    • Integration of holistic practices available (Reiki, guided meditations, meditation training, breathing exercises, yoga nidra, mindfulness practice),

    • Guidance if you want help growing fresh herbs or vegetables  to support your nutrition(Optional),

    • Ongoing email or text access for your questions or when you need a boost,

    • Integration with your current healthcare team - physician(s), dietician, therapists, etc.

  • Of course! For clients who know what they want or who need a tune-up, I offer individual and/or group sessions in Reiki, Ayurvedic nutrition, yoga nidra, mindfulness coaching, guided meditation, learn-to-meditate, cooking classes and permaculture consultation. These may be booked directly from my Scheduling or Contacts pages.

  • For my integrative Karuna Care Coaching program, go to the Scheduling tab and book a complimentary 60-minute first session.

During this call, we will determine if we are a mutual, good fit, as well as get right to work in identifying your goals.

Please understand that I limit the number of coaching spots to give the most focused care possible to each client. Therefore, I only work with clients who are committed to doing the work to improve their stress and wellness.

For individual services, go to my Scheduling page.  If it is your first time receiving care in a particular modality (i.e. Reiki, Mindfulness Coaching, Ayurvedic Nutrition counseling), then book a First Session or Consultation and Intake.
